The Queen of Sipo
30 minutes from the rural community of Toubacouta, in a pirogue, Sipo, a small island of a hundred inhabitants who has the distinction of sheltering a queen. Single woman, Fatou Mané. Very humble and very funny, this queen without crown receives a warm welcome from the visitors to her island, 97 years old, the Queen tells us her story, her meeting with the "Djinns" with whom she lived for 17 years before returning to her homeland Sipo.
